Herbert Yamada
Herbert Hideto Yamada, 85, of Kealakekua, died April 24, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Jan. 28, 1936, in Piihonua, he was a retired glazier for Honolulu Glass C0., a member of local union #1889 and a U.S. Army veteran.
Services will be held at a later date.
Survived by daughters, Yvonne Keanaaina of Honolulu, Jaye Kalilikane of Honalo, Phyllis (John) Alapai of Kealakekua and Terri (Juan) Villanueva of San Diego; brother, Harvey (June) Yamada of Hilo; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frances Rodillas
Frances Rodillas, 94, of Hilo, died May 13, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Nov. 20, 1926, in Hilo, he was a retired Hawaii County Police officer, a veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and a member of the Ancient Order of Foresters Court Mauna Kea No. 8854, Y.M.I. and Knights of Columbus.
Friends may call 9 a.m. June 2 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, for a 10:30 a.m. service. Private burial to follow.
Survived by sons, Charles P. (Patricia) Rodillas of North Carolina and Francis (Martha) Rodillas of Hilo; daughter, Davon (Douglas) Lowrimore of Hilo; brother, Charles Rodillas of Hilo; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ira Woolery
Ira Woolery, 68, of Hilo died May 9, 2021, at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Okinawa, Japan, he was a retired information technology system administrator for General Dynamics, an IBM computer programmer, member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a U.S. Army veteran.

Eleuteria Candelario
Eleuteria Ventura Candelario, 79, of Kalopa, died May 17, 2021, at her residence. Born Aug. 8, 1941, in Isabela, Philippines, she was a retired laundry worker for a Waikoloa hotel.

Lynne Masae Holub, 67, of Pahoa, died May 6, 2021, at her residence. Born in Hilo on June 14, 1953, she was a retired elementary school teacher at Kaumana and Keonepoko elementary schools.

She is survived by husband, John Holub of Pahoa; daughters, Jolyn (Tommy) Fieweger of Portland, OR, Jaime (Stan Rosario) Campbell of Big Bear Lake, CA and Kristen Thomas of Becker, MN; son, Michael (Britny) Holub of Mesa, AZ; brothers, Glenn Nakamura and Alton (Junette) Nakamura, both of Hilo; seven grandchildren; and numerous aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Peggy Gnit Kwai Martin, 94, of Hilo, died May 9, 2021. She was a homemaker, housekeeper at the former Naniloa Hotel in Hilo, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
